Women in Arms

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Police have arrested a man they say raped a woman at gunpoint in downtown Orlando.
Officers arrested 41-year-old Tyrone Tarmae Dukes on Tuesday after he was identified by the victim as her attacker.
The woman told officers she was walking home early Tuesday morning when she noticed Dukes staring at her. Dukes reportedly told the woman he wanted sex, pulled out what appeared to be a gun and dragged the woman into nearby bushes.
After the attack, Dukes reportedly walked away, and the women flagged down the police.
Officers began searching the area. The woman's son, who was also searching, spotted Dukes and told police.
Dukes was charged with armed kidnapping and sexual battery. He was being held without bail.
This was reported yesterday 11/24/09 yet another attack on a woman . This attack could have been prevented if the woman had a hand gun to defend herself. And she was very fortunate that the assailant didn't kill her a lot of other women or victims would not have been so lucky. Which proves the case once again that women need to arm themselves. This particular case was a sexual assault case. There are other cases involving robbery by gun point as well. In most cases the victim is a woman.

“Psychology test have proven that criminals go after the weaker target or they take the path of least resistance and in most cases the path of least resistance is through an “Unarmed” woman.”

If women would wise up and realize they are the target of “Most” Sexual assaults and arm themselves this would help eliminate most “but not all” sexual assaults. But at the very least it would send a message to the would be assailant's that women are wising up and arming themselves. This message would be carried out via the news media. Don't you think that when the potential assailant's start hearing in the news that women are killing there attackers instead of becoming victims, that this would plant a seed in the attackers mind to think twice before attacking a woman. “I think so” you can argue my point if you like, but its true.

Some women have developed a defeatist attitude toward defending themselves there excuses range between saying “ Its nothing I can do about it , if the attacker wants to attack someone there going to do it anyway” to “I hate guns they kill people” its this type of mind set that will ultimately cost them there lives. Guns don't kill people its the people behind the Guns that kill people and in most cases they kill innocent people, if people would wise up and realize this the potential victims behind the guns would kill the attackers instead of the assailant's killing them.

If women would use a weapon “ Hand Gun”in defense of an assailant during or before the attack it may save there life. Certainly it would be a better defense than having no weapon at all..
